Monica’s background as a trained singer, coupled with bachelor’s degree in music, infuses her narratives with rich musical themes. She lives in the upper midwest, and draws inspiration for her settings from the northern, forest-clad climate. Beyond writing, she is a mother, wife, worker, and dance coach choreographer.

Her work promises to sweep readers into an immersive world where love and magic intertwine. The Song of Sunrise is her debut novel.
